What Happens During a Free Site Survey for Scenting
Before any scent goes into your space, someone needs to understand the space itself. That's the job of a site survey. It looks at how your premises are built, how air moves through them and how they're used day to day, so the recommendation fits your space rather than a standard package.

Why the survey comes first
Scent works through atmosphere, and research has found that a pleasant ambient scent helped people remember brands[1]. But scent added without understanding the space can easily miss: it may not spread evenly, it may be too strong where people sit, or it may drift straight into an air-conditioning return. The survey answers those questions before anything is installed.
What we cover
1. Your goals and how you operate.
Before the walkthrough, we talk about what you want the scent to do: a warmer welcome, a more consistent brand experience across branches, a calmer waiting area. We also ask which areas should be scented, what your opening hours are and how busy each area gets, since these shape the intensity and the schedule.
2. A walk through the space.
We look at the layout, ceiling heights, open areas and enclosed rooms, doors that open often and anything else that affects how air moves. We note draughts, entrances and the places where people spend the most time.
3. Air-conditioning.
Where there is central air-conditioning, we check whether HVAC scenting is possible: the type and size of the system, access to the ducts, where the filters sit and when they are serviced, and whether the fan can run during scenting hours so the air carries the scent.
4. Measurements and practical details.
We record the floor area and room volume, the zones each air-conditioning unit serves, power points for standalone units and the places where machines can be mounted safely.
5. Existing smells.
If a space has a lasting odour, we'll tell you honestly. Scent isn't an odour remover, and we don't offer odour neutralising. Cleaning and ventilation should come first, and we may suggest leaving that area unscented until the cause is fixed.
6. Other things in the air.
We note fresh-air intakes, humidity and any air purifiers, so the scent works alongside your building's systems rather than against them.
After the survey
You receive a recommendation for the machine types, placement, schedule and intensity for each area, and we help you choose a scent from our Scent Library of 40+ fragrances from European fragrance houses. Signature Scent, a fragrance developed only for your brand, is available as a separate optional service. You can then try the recommended scent free for 3 days in your own space.
What happens next
Once you decide to go ahead, our team installs the units and runs them on an automatic schedule, 10 hours a day by default and set to your opening hours. Refills and upkeep are handled at a monthly Preventive Maintenance Visit, where the intensity is also reviewed. Emergency service is free.
The site survey and the 3-day trial are free.
